A little back story on how Pampa Machine & Supply came to be:

Tony Richardson, the owner knew back in the 60's that he had to feed his family and the only way to do that was to find a steady job. He packed up his car and moved from Oklahoma because he was told the oil boom in the Panhandle of Texas had work to be found. He came and made his place at home here in Pampa and working for Jones-Everett. He started from the bottom being without any machinist knowledge and fell in love with the trade. He knew immediately that he wanted to move his family here and make a career out of it. He went on to start his own machine shop with multiple partners. He started L&R Machine in the late 70's and dissolved that partnership some years after. In the 80's he started Pampa Machine & Supply, Inc. with a partner and later bought out his partner to be the sole owner of the business. Along the way he purchased Jones-Everett and their machine inventory and multiple other closing machine shop businesses to build up his machinery.
